Founded in 1931, Chemung Supply has remained a family run business serving the Northeastern United States. Chemung Supply specializes in pipe, guide rail & installation, sign posts, structural steel, and winter wear parts.

In 2009, Stemerman and his team expanded the company with the development of a snow plow blade manufacturing facility, Evolution Edges, which primarily focuses on the manufacture of high carbon steel and carbide inserted snow plow blades. In 2018, the Evolution Edges VST™ (Vibration Suppression Technology) blade received a patent, and serves as an innovative all-in-one poly-encased carbide cutting edge. Evolution Edges products have afforded Chemung Supply the opportunity to sell products nationally among snow-falling states.

“In addition to our contributions to our industry, we are proud to be a community fixture in the Elmira, New York area.  Our staff have formed continuous relationships with local leaders since 1931,” adds Stemerman.
