We saw a need for the standardization and management of edge design & manufacturing and as a result, Evolution Edges was born.
A Division of Chemung Supply Corporation, Evolution Edges was founded in response to the industry's growing need for a streamlined parts-ordering process with fast delivery. Since 2009, the company has been an authority on quality edges and wear parts for highway departments, municipalities and airports offering an extensive product line of in-stock blades and edges to get you back in business.
Continuing with the mission of quality blades fast, Evolution Edges soon expanded manufacturing facilities with the original Elmira, NY facility and an additional facility in Oswego, NY.
In November 2020, Evolution Edges acquired the company Built Blades. This acquisition demonstrates the ongoing focus to improve snowplow cutting edge technology. Built Blades, LLC, located in Fairport, NY (a northeast suburb of Rochester, NY), has delivered innovative, proprietary and patented snowplow wear parts since 2016 under the direction of its founder and inventor Mr. Matthew Aquino. Built Blades shares the same vision - a commitment to innovation for snowplow wear parts. Their product offerings include eight major product categories with more than 50 individual wear parts that will be integrated into the existing Evolution Edges product portfolio.
